Senior Estimator – Commercial Construction
We’re partnering with a long-term client of ours that is a highly respected, relationship-driven commercial general contractor to identify a Senior Estimator who will play a key leadership role within their growing preconstruction team.
This is more than a heads-down estimating role—this individual will lead the front end of projects, mentor junior talent, and work directly with executive leadership to shape strategy, pricing, and client relationships.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead conceptual and detailed estimating for commercial construction projects
- Manage and mentor a team of Junior Estimators
- Collaborate directly with the VP of Preconstruction on bidding strategy and project pursuit
- Engage with clients, architects, and trade partners during preconstruction
- Drive value engineering, budgeting, and cost planning efforts
What We’re Looking For:
- 8–15+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
- Proven ability to lead estimates from early concept through GMP
- Strong leadership mindset with a desire to mentor and develop others
- Experience working directly with clients and internal leadership
- Background in negotiated work and relationship-based projects is a plus
